Quincy Ernest, the owner of a shipping company in London, is found dead, drowned within the river, a spiral cut up his leg. Minerva “Mini” Ernest wakes up from a nightmare, much like she has most nights since her husband died a month ago. Detective William Usher has arrived, asking Mini to join him at the station.
